This week I will be entering Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Rivard's third grade classes to help teach bullying awareness.
The holidays are right around the corner. If your family needs support in any way, please let me know! Enjoy Tuesday's holiday and lets remember the Vets!

The week of November 3rd-November 7th I have been entering Mrs. Sarette and Mrs. Parkinson's 3rd grade classrooms to talk to the students about Bullying. I review with them what a bully is as well as a victim and bystander.
We also discuss several strategies to use if they are ever in a bullying situation.
Both classes participated in role-plays, created drawings using the strategies discussed, and played a game.

General Outline of what I Do
I work with students on issues such as social skills, self-esteem, anger management, stress management, divorce, grief, diversity, bullying, and friendship skills. Some methods include a breakdown of individual steps, play therapy, role-playing, as well as various curriculum guides.
